When my variable is double this code doesn't work how can I fix it?

I changed my alert box color based on exam grade but when my exam grade variable is double this code doesn't work

(function () {
            var examgrade = @Model.total;
            var info = document.getElementById("alertbox");
            if (examgrade == 0) {
                info.className = "alert alert-info";
                info.innerText = "Note: " + examgrade + " You will see your exam note here."
            }
            else if (examgrade < 60 && examgrade != 0) {
                info.className = "alert alert-danger";
                info.innerText = "Note: " + examgrade + " Failed!"
            }
            else {
                info.className = "alert alert-success";
                info.innerText = "Note: " + examgrade + " Success!"
            }
        })();
