Hey I am having an issue with Leaflet and trying to change the layer control panel so that it will change based on which base layer I have chosen.

eg. I have 3 maps/radio buttons, I want to add/remove check boxes based on the layers chosen

I keep running into issues where nothing happens, I can't get the overlay later to change

map.on('baselayerchange', function(b) {
    if (map.hasLayer('map1') == true){
    map.removeLayer('overlay')
    map.addLayer('overlay2')
    };
});

I also tried this:

    if (map.hasLayer('map1') == true){
        map.removeLayer('overlay')
        map.addLayer('overlay2')
        L.control.layers(basemaps, overlay,{collapsed:false}).remove(map);
        L.control.layers(basemaps, overlay2,{collapsed:false}).addTo(map);
    };
});
