JavaScript: Is there a way to have a different default month with Vanilla Calendar JS?

I'm using Vanilla Calendar (https://github.com/scottishstoater/vanilla-calendar) with one of my projects to display available dates for events. However, my client is asking for one of the events to show December 2021 by default instead of the current month.

As far as I can see in any documentation there isn't a parameter I can use to define the month - can anyone advise on some logic to change the default month that shows?

Thanks a lot.
