Read Cookie Expiry with React packages like Universal-cookie, react-cookie, etc

I have a NET CORE backend and React front end. The backend sets a cookie with expiry to the browser. And I want to read the expiry time in the front end.

I've read thru various API documentations of JS-cookie, universal-cookie, react-cookie.

All of them only provide API for setting the Cookie Expiry but not for reading an existing one.

Do these packages provide any easy to use API for reading expiry or will I have to use plain old JS to parse the key/value pairs to read the expiry?
