Firebase Remote Config solo obtiene valores predeterminados

Estoy usando react-native-firebase https://rnfirebase.io/remote-config/usage para intentar obtener mis valores.

Firebase dice que obtuvo mis valores porque estoy recibiendo este registro de la consola:

"Configs were retrieved from the backend and activated."

PERO, cuando intento generar solo el valor, solo puedo ver los valores predeterminados si están configurados.

Soy consciente de la forma en que Firebase almacena en caché la configuración remota, pero aún no puedo hacer que funcione configurando un tiempo de espera de caché personalizado.

Me encantaría alguna orientación aquí, no estoy tan seguro de lo que podría estar haciendo mal.
