Why Apache falls after a gracefull restart with error "(11677): Fatal Error Insufficient shared memory!"

My Apache web server is configured to restart gracefully after log rotation at night. We have recently updated our CentOS server. During the update some of the settings probably were reset to the defaults. Now Apache sometimes it fails to reload with the following errors in error log: (11677): Fatal Error Insufficient shared memory! [suexec:notice] [pid 25577] AH01232: suEXEC mechanism enabled (wrapper: /usr/sbin/suexec) These lines repeated multiple times and finally there are the following lines: [core:emerg] [pid 17883] (28)No space left on device: AH00023: Couldn't create the rewrite-map mutex AH00016: Configuration Failed How to fix this?
