Shared Apache Vhost between load balanced EC2 instances

So I have a web application that has the ability to spin up new WordPress sites. This requires new WordPress website files and apache vhost configurations to be created.

We would like to run this on EC2 instances that are horizontal autoscaling. In theory, we should be able to store our website files on a shared EFS. However, our main concern is the newly created vhost files. If apache lives on each EC2 server independently, how can we share the vhost configuration files between the instances?

Does anyone have any idea how we can handle this scenario?
