¿Cómo ejecutar dos microservicios en la misma red?

Estoy enfrentando un problema aquí:

 version: '2' services: ms1: image: somedtr/someorg/somerepo:v0.1 mem_limit: 512M environment: SPRING_PROFILES_ACTIVE: docker-development-cloud JAVA_OPTS: -Xms256m -Xmx512m ports: - "8900:8900" restart: always networks: - docker_dev_cloud networks: docker_dev_cloud: driver: bridge ======================================= version: '2' services: ms2: image: somedtr/someorg/somerepo:v0.1 mem_limit: 512M environment: SPRING_PROFILES_ACTIVE: docker-development-cloud JAVA_OPTS: -Xms256m -Xmx512m ports: - "8900:8900" restart: always networks: - docker_dev_cloud networks: docker_dev_cloud: driver: bridge

estoy tratando de ejecutar el servicio en docker_dev_cloud pero no se está ejecutando en esa red

cuando hago docker network ls

 ms1_docker_dev_cloud ms2_docker_dev_cloud

Cualquier ayuda apreciada, gracias de antemano

El OP usó 2 archivos .yaml diferentes y se crearon 2 redes diferentes, tal vez porque docker-compose usa como nombre de proyecto (por defecto) el nombre del directorio con el archivo docker-compose.yaml . En los comentarios se propuso utilizar:

 docker-compose -p project_name up

respuesta original:

He cambiado un poco tu yaml para hacer algo que funcione y se pueda demostrar.

  1. He usado la imagen alpine .
  2. Cambié uno de los dos puertos 8900 a 8901 porque no puede vincularlo dos veces (puede ejecutar tantos contenedores como desee utilizando su puerto 8900 pero su host solo tiene un puerto 8900 ).
  3. entrypoint: ping msX para mostrarle que se hacen ping entre sí.

docker-compose.yaml (ejecútelo con docker-compose up ):

puede ver que funciona, porque ms1 - ms2 en realidad se hacen ping entre sí.
