Angular 4 - Conversión de eventos en flujos observables

Soy bastante nuevo en Rxjs y Angular 4 y no puedo entender cómo hacer esto.

Modelo:

 <div class="btn-group cp"> <input [colorPicker]="bgColor" (colorPickerChange)="colorChanged()" [style.background]="bgColor"> </div>

colorChanged() es llamado por colorPickerChnage en mousemove. Quiero tener algo como esto en mi componente:

 colorChanged$.subscribe(data => console.log(data))

(Tendrá algo de rebote y más suscriptores, por eso me gustaría tenerlo como observable).

Modelo:

Y luego en el componente:

 import { Subject } from 'rxjs'; colorChanged$ = new Subject<string>(); colorChanged(bgColor) { this.colorChanged$.next(bgColor) } ngOnInit() { this.colorChanged$.subscribe(v => console.log(v)); }
