Running a python script from a javascript file (Qt 5.15 .js file)

Im using a medical imaging simulation program that allows me to set up my own recon, but the recon must be initiated from a javascript file (recon.js). Essentially, once the simulation is done running, it will run the recon file I specify, but that file must be a .js file. My recon code is in python and I would like to be able to just run that python script. The simulation program runs the .js file using Qt5.15, so I can't use Node.js modules which is the only way I know how to go about this. I know there is QProcess class that can execute a python script from a .cpp file, but I would first need to execute the .cpp file using my recon.js file. Is there anyway to either run the python script directly from my .js file or to run a .gcc file from my .js file and then I can run the python file from that .gcc file?
