Kanban - Failed to execute 'appendChild' on 'Node': parameter 1 is not of type 'Node'

I am getting an error of "Failed to execute 'appendChild' on 'Node': parameter 1 is not of type 'Node'" When I try to drag a list item that I created. Any reason as to why this is happening?

// === add new task === //

document.getElementById("create-btn").addEventListener("click", function () {
  let ul = document.querySelector(".task-list");
  let li = document.createElement("li");
  ul.classList.add("task-list");
  li.classList.add("task");
  let taskForm = document.getElementById("task-form");
  li.appendChild(document.createTextNode(taskForm.value));
  ul.appendChild(li);

});

// dragging

containers.forEach((container) => {
  container.addEventListener("dragover", (e) => {
    e.preventDefault();
    const afterElement = getDragAfterElement(container, e.clientY);
    const draggable = document.querySelector(".dragging");
    if (afterElement == null) {
      container.appendChild(draggable);
    } else {
      container.insertBefore(draggable, afterElement);
    }
  });
});
