JavaScripts return back to filtered page with onclick method

Actually, I have a list datatable on one page which is filtered, when I choose one data from there it will go to another page for detail. I have a button back with the method onclick="window.history.go(-1); return false;" it will return to filtered datatable. But when I click submit then the detail page reloads after that, I can't click that button back to my filtered datatable.

So, here its how it works :

Case 1: Page with filtered datatable >> click one of them then it will process to page detail >> I don't click submit and just click the button back it will be back to the page with filtered datatable

Case 2: Page with filtered datatable >> click to process page detail -> click submit >> page detail reload after submit >> I can't click the button back to make it back to page with filtered datatable.

I tried to make two button back, button number one with onclick="window.history.go(-1); return false;" and button number two with onclick="window.history.go(-2); return false;" for assumption it will go back to page with filtered datatable when page detail reload.

My question is how to hide button number one after clicking submit -> page reload so button number two will show? How does it work?
