Using Javascript, start a timer when the user begins typing inside a HTML text form then stop the timer when no typing has been detected for 2 seconds

Need some HTML/Javascript code that will create a HTML text form, then when the user begins typing inside the HTML text form, start a timer, then when no typing has been detected for 2 seconds, stop the timer.

Additional features would be an array of strings (sentences), in which 1 string will be randomly displayed above the HTML text form. That 1 string is the string that you should type (as fast as possible) into the HTML text area. Then once no typing has been detected for 2 seconds and the timer is stopped, display the elapsed time (minus 2 seconds, to account for the 2 second delay) and display if the text entered into the HTML text form matches that 1 string.
