Changing the minimum value of a slider in javascript/html to reference a pre-defined variable

I have a slider that I'm trying to manipulate the min/max values for. I have a list of items and am wanting the min and max to track the list. How do I reference that in the slider object?

<script> list=[1,2,3,4] </script>

<input id="Gslider" type="range" min="0" max="4.7" step=".1" oninput="gsliderChange(this.value); len = 4058.442*((g*(this.value*this.value))/(4*PI*PI));">
