I need to log into outlook (https://login.live.com/) through the console via jquery using Microsoft Edge, can anyone help me?

using Google Chrome works the following command:

$( "#i0116" ).value = 'myemail@hotmail.com';
$("#idSIButton9" ).click();
$( "#i0118" ).value = "Password";
$("#idSIButton9" ).click(); 
$("#idBtn_Back" ).click();

but in the Edge browser these commands don't work, it's like not triggering the change trigger.
