Mira este ejemplo:

tenemos nuestro modelo

class Person(models.Model):
    name = models.CharField(max_length=50)
    last_name = models.CharField(max_length=200)

ahora creamos nuestro objeto persona:

person = Person.objects.create(name='Pepito', last_name='Perez')

esto creara el objeto "person" y para guardarlo es de la siguiente manera

person.save()
