Filter Algorithm preferably in python

Good day to y'all! So... I'm trying to figure out how to "translate" a word list from java script to python. In java script it's written like this: word,word2,word3,..., but in Python I need a quotation mark (") surrounding every word. The list has over 10000 words, so to do it manually is no option. My thinking here is to "search" for the commas (,) and then put a " in front and behind every word. idk if this would work, the "sketch" of my code doesn't, but if someone knows something about this, please let me know!

Thanks, -- Me
