I have built a custom video player that adapts size for mobile devices. While this was pretty simple, one thing I have been really frustrated with is while on desktop browsers like chrome, the default player has been successfully removed, the player on iOS has the default player on top. I went to the mobile website for youtube, low and behold, they don't have this issue. Is there some simple thing I am missing?

I have tried video.setMediaController(null); in the javascript, but no dice. Thank you!
