I am using Google maps API and I would like to write some custom text under a created polyline having the same direction with the polyline.

I would like to position the text in a custom distance from polyline.

Is this possible?

If it is not possible to connect text to a polyline can I create independent text in a specific location with specific direction?

The answers here enter link description here do not answer the question because the solution has a text in a default direction. Furthermore the question is a bit different. I don't want the text inside polyline but at a distance from it.
