Difficulties with fetching data from REST API

I'm currently trying to implement data from an REST API into a Wordpress website. This is the code I wrote:

<script>
fetch( 'https://snippets.ayoune.app/6284e298cf804b0013c09628?data=true', {mode: 'no-cors'} )
    .then( response => response.json())
    .then( response => console.log(response))
</script>

When checking the console of the website I get the following error instead of the json response:

Uncaught (in promise) SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input (at (Index):298:33)
    at (Index):298:33

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<script>
fetch( 'https://snippets.ayoune.app/6284e298cf804b0013c09628?data=true', {mode: 'no-cors'} )
    .then( response => response.json())X(THIS IS WHERE THE EXECPTION IS RAISED!)
    .then( response => console.log(response))
        // Do something with response.

</script>

Could this be a server problem? Am I missing something? Help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance, Igor
