Class syntax in javascript and OOP paradigm

Ok so i was yesterday doing the freeCodeCamp Javascript Course and there is a part when the exercise says:

It should be noted that the class syntax is just syntax, and not a full-fledged class-based implementation of an object-oriented paradigm, unlike in languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, etc

so my question is, how about that? what does it means that the js doesnt have the implementation of the paradigm OOP?
