How do you retrieve the payload of a webhook without 3rd party software? [js]

So me and a few mates have been working on a project regarding the trello API, one of the components that we need to utilize is webhooks.

Now we can succesfully create the webhooks, and if we use a site like "https://webhook.site" we can also access the payloads that are returned when the webhook is triggered.

Now our problem is doing this without a 3rd party software. We can successfully create a webhook, and we give it our own servers url, but how can we actually see the payloads that are returned? How can we access them etc. I cant seem to find any info that does not use "https://webhook.site" or similar third party software to do it for them.

Any help or nudges in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Ty in advance =)
