I have a service worker script on my Chrome extension V3 (on V2 it was named background) and I need to load a remote JS file which is updated every at every 10 minutes. On V2 I could easily load it using fetch and right after that I could use eval. However on Manifest V3, using eval is not possible.

So how are developers dealing with this type of thing (having to load external js and executing it)?
