obtenga InputName del elemento div usando js, no jquery por favor

Tengo una variable que consiste en una etiqueta HTML como se muestra a continuación:

 let customDiv = '<div class="MuiAutocomplete-root" name="ApplyTo">Hello</div>';

Quiero obtener el "nombre" que genera -> "Aplicar a" ... de la variable customDiv anterior. No quiero usar jquery. Quería implementarlo con vainilla javascript. Gracias.

Puede usar técnicas de manipulación de cadenas como Regex :

 customDiv.match('name="(.*?)"')[1]

División o subcadenas:

 customDiv.split('name="')[1].split('"')[0]

O obtenga un DOM completo usando el elemento <template> .

 let template = document.createElement('template'); template.innerHTML = customDiv; let name = template.content.firstChild.getAttribute('name');
