Open URL from a PWA in the Browser

In my PWA I have the "add to wallet" feature for something, so when the user clicks on the link - the link should be opened in the browser (not in the pwa), but everything I tried didn't work...

The reason, I want to open the link in the default browser is, because the PWA freezes, when the add-to-walled popup appears, so I need to close it and reopen again - seems like a bug. When I try it without installing the PWA - directly in the browser, then everything works fine!

<a href="https://different-domain.com/example" target="_blank">Add to wallet</a>

My manifest.json looks like this:

...
"scope": "/",
"start_url": "/",
"display": "standalone",
