Run logic when any object is instantiated in JavaScript

I'd like to run some custom logic whenever any object is instantiated in my JavaScript application. I'm primarily interested in running this hook when the new operator is used, secondly when anonymous objects are created eg. by JSON.parse().

I'm wondering if this is achievable in any way. I did not have luck with overriding the Object constructor or create a Proxy around it.

By the way I'm using TypeScript, so maybe some TS related trickery can help. Possibly some pre-compilation logic, eg. code weaving. But I haven't found anything useful yet.
