Yup does not return a message in React JS

In my react js application i have this schem:

start: yup.date()
  .transform(function(value, originalValue) {
    return !isVaid(value) ? 'fake' : value;
  })
  .typeError('Start should be real date')
  .required('start is required'),

end: yup.string()
  .when(['start'], (start, schema) => {
    console.log(startDate, 'test')
    return schema.transform((currentValue) => {
      if (DateTime.fromISO(start) > DateTime.fromISO(currentValue)) {
        return schema.typeError('End has to be more than start ')
      }
    })
  })
  .required('End is required'),

The first rule for start is working but the second does no return a message when start is more than end? Is there a issue and how to solve it? I want to return a message when start is higher that end.
