The trick is to use setGlobalDispatcher (getGlobalDispatcher can be used to grab the original one for later restoration).

import {
  fetch,
  setGlobalDispatcher,
  Agent,
} from 'undici'

setGlobalDispatcher(new Agent({
  connect: {
    rejectUnauthorized: false
  }
}))

fetch('https://localhost:8888').then(...)
