Create divs dynamically in ReactJs

I try to create divs dynamically, but without using map and i don't know how. I want to create an amount of divs like that: <div className="ball-light" />, according to the value of my const pages. If my constant is worth 2 i want it to render two divs if it is worth 3 i want it to render three divs and so on. If anyone knows how i can do this i would be very grateful.

import React from 'react';
import projectsList from '../../data/projectsData';

function Progress() {
  const pages = (projectsList.length / 3);

  return (
    <div className="modal-progress">
      // Here i want to create dynamically div(<div className="ball-light" />)
         according to the const pages value.
    </div>
  );
}

export default Progress;
