Cómo obtener un elemento basado en su HTML interno

Tengo un bucle for en el que estoy iterando sobre los elementos selected de la matriz. Quiero obtener el elemento de la lista de select donde mi value es igual al innerText de la select list . ¿Cómo puedo hacer eso usando jQuery ?

He intentado esto, pero me quedé atascado

No necesita el ciclo si está usando :contains :

 var selectedClub = $(`#select2-3 option:selected:contains("${value}")`);

Alternativamente, puede usar filter() :

 var selectedClubs = $('#select2-3 option:selected'); var selectedClub = $selectedClubs.filter((i, el) => el.innerText === value);
