React - Adding a extra 'landing' page to an existing single page website?

I'm trying my hand at React and quite new to it. I've been following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMagNcngvcU and managed to get a better understanding of this but still quite new to React in general. I've finished the tutorial.

So as far as I see this tutorial makes a single page app/website. I want to follow this design for my own page and customize this to be my own.

What I'm trying to do is add a single 'landing page' with a button in the center to enter the main part of the website. On the 'landing page' it will be a full screen image slider with the button placed in the center.

My question is...how do I add another page that is the first page that is show on website loading? Then the button on the landing page goes to the main part of the site? Is that possible on this project type or would I need an entirely new project if this is a single page app/website?

The areas that deal with this i guess are index.js and app.js correct?

index.js:

import React from 'react';
import ReactDOM from 'react-dom';

import App from './App';
import './index.css';

ReactDOM.render(<App />, document.getElementById('root'));

app.js :

import React from 'react';

import { Footer, Blog, Possibility, Features, Services, Header } from './containers';
import { CTA, Brand, Navbar } from './components';

import './App.css';

const App = () => (
  <div className="App">
    <div className="gradient__bg">
      <Navbar />
      <Header />
    </div>
    <Brand />
    <Services />
    <Features />
    <Possibility />
    <CTA />
    <Blog />
    <Footer />
  </div>
);

export default App;

Any pointers on how I would add a landing page to this site? Any help greatly appreciated! I've seen some people mention react-router and others mention that is not current or required but Im really unsure how to proceed. Would that whole implementation of react router be needed to add a landing page to the tutorial above?

Thanks!
