TypeError: no se pueden leer las propiedades de undefined (leyendo 'props') - charts.js

Estoy tratando de usar charts.js y siempre obtengo un error: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'props')" y no puedo arreglarlo, ¿alguna idea de por qué? Ya busqué en los documentos y en problemas de github y no encontré nada. gracias por la ayuda, si necesita más detalles, hágamelo saber
