How to query MySQL Database using correct date format (Javascript)?

Hello I am querying my MySQL Database by hitting an node.js api end point that takes two date parameters as its request body.

I want to query the database to retrieve some information from a table between two date times

  const start: Date = moment().startOf("day").utc().toDate();
  const end: Date = moment().endOf("day").utc().toDate();
  const cancelDateStart: Date = new Date(start);
  const cancelDateEnd: Date = new Date(end);

Since SQL servers store this database information in UTC format. How can I query the database using the same time zone as my sql server? It must be between beginning of the day and end of the day.
