Page size is not changing in javascript?

I am trying to remove whitespace from the page while generating pdf from my html webpage using jsPDF. I tried adding the page size code but it doesn't work. The code is as below:

<script src="html2pdf.bundle.min.js"></script>
<script>
    function generatePDF() {
        // Choose the element that our invoice is rendered in.
        const element = document.getElementById('mypdf');
        // Choose the element and save the PDF for our user.
        html2pdf().from(element).save();
        new jsPDF('p', 'mm', [297, 210]);
    }
</script>

<button onclick="generatePDF()">Download as PDF</button>

But still, I am having whitespace in the pdf. Any help is appreciated.
