react-tres, el niño no vuelve a renderizar en un caso, pero sí en el otro

Estoy atascado con useState que no vuelve a representar el componente secundario en un caso.

esto no funciona

el día es booleano aquí

 const Parent = () => { const [day, setDay] = useState(true); const onHandle = () => { setDay((prevState) => !prevState); }; // omitted }
 const Child = ({ day }) => { const [colorMap] = useLoader( TextureLoader, [day ? EarthDayMap : EarthNightMap] ); // omitted

pero esto funciona

el día es objeto aquí

 const Parent = () => { const [day, setDay] = useState(EarthDayMap); const onHandle = () => { // toggling between day and night states }; // omitted }
 const Child = ({ day }) => { const [colorMap] = useLoader( TextureLoader, [day] ); // omitted

Hice el código lo más simple posible.

Si está cambiando entre dos estados. Puedes usar estos

 setDay(!day)

en lugar de su código.
