I am using this bootstrap datepicker widget

And I would like to add 2 buttons: Apply and Cancel.

The Cancel button would fire the clearDate event. The Apply button would fire the hide event.

I couldn't find anything in the documentation about adding additional buttons, I don't know how I could achieve something like that.

I have found in SO previous questions related to datepicker styling, such as this one, but it is still not clear to me how I could add those buttons.
