Webkit MutationObserver - Fire function when no changes

I do a chrome extension for my work, which gets data and data is sometimes dynamically loaded.

I could not figure out, if I can check once the mutationobserver “ends” so I mean when there are no changes anymore.

Any idea how I can check that nothing is changing anymore?

var observer = new MutationObserver((mutationsList) => {

});
const config = { attributes: true, childList: true, characterData: true, subtree:true};
observer.observe(document.body, config);
