Is it possible to extract data from a website using PX-Web using R?

I need to extract data from this website (often doesn't work in Safari, I typically have to open it in Chrome or Firefox)

https://w6.seg-social.es/PXWeb/pxweb/es/Afiliados%20en%20alta%20laboral/Afiliados%20en%20alta%20laboral__Afiliados%20Medios/

to feed this shiny app monthly https://iseakbeta.shinyapps.io/obsv_dfg/

Specifically, I need to obtain/download the data that you obtain after clicking on: 05m-Afi. Med. R. General por Provincia-CCAA, y Sección-Actividad then select Fecha: "selecciona todo" (selects everything) Provincia-CCAA: GIPUZKOA Sección-Actividad: "selecciona todo" (selects everything) Then click on "Continuar" (Next) and you should be able to see the following table:

enter image description here

If you notice, to the left of the table there's options to download it (Grabar el resultado como...) and this allows me to download the data as csv, xml, ... whichever format I want.

However, I'd like to be able to replicate the clicks/creation of the table & download automatically without having to manually click myself every time I need to update the data.

Unfortunately, I don't know any JS and I'm completely at a loss of how to go about it/if it's even possible to do it in R. Does anyone have any pointers? Thank you in advance.
