forma correcta de apuntar `npm start` a un script de paquete?

quiero iniciar un archivo server.js ubicado en la carpeta de mi paquete

como lo hago bien

por ejemplo, tengo un archivo node_modules/databased/server.js :

 const express = require('express') const app = new express() app.get('/', function (request, response) { response.sendFile(__dirname + '/index.html') }) app.listen(3000) console.log('express started')

luego en mi package.json :

 "scripts": { "start": "node ./node_modules/databased/server.js" }, "dependencies": { "databased": "file:./my_modules/databased" }

¿Es esta la forma correcta de hacer esto? esto es para un paquete que estoy desarrollando
