Filtrado dinámico de arreglos con configuraciones múltiples

Tengo una matriz que se construye utilizando valores de entrada del usuario y puede tener cualquier longitud:

 var products = [ {key1: string1, key2: 1, key3: 30, key4: 1}, {key1: string2, key2: 2, key3: 35, key4: 2} ]

Y tengo algunos filtros.

 var filters = { key2: 1, key3: {min: 20, max: 40}, key4: 1, }

Actualmente estoy usando la siguiente función para filtrar productos usando mis filtros

Todo funciona como se esperaba cuando key3 en los filtros tiene un número exacto, pero tengo problemas al intentar incorporar un rango. ¿Cómo modificaría la función para permitir un rango en key3 (filtros)?
