Can't import component dynamically with component name/path as variable

Inertia.js

I'm trying to import a component dynamically with the code below where this.component equals '@/Components/Form/Fields/Textarea'

componentToDisplay() {
    return defineAsyncComponent(() => import(this.component + '.vue'))
}

But I get this error : "Error: Cannot find module '@/Components/Form/Fields/Textarea.vue'"

If I do return defineAsyncComponent(() => import('@/Components/Form/Fields/Textarea.vue')), it works just fine.

I've seen some people talk about literal string, so that's why I added the + '.vue' in the first example but even just return defineAsyncComponent(() => import(this.component)) is not working.

I am at a lost so any help is appreciated, thanks.
